our ministries

discipleship

Spiritual Development

At the core of our process is not a programme for just the sake of achieving our goals. We want to see individuals changed from the inside out and have an impact on their community.

This means building meaningful relationships with those individuals. So as we model and teach them biblical values, we want also to disciple them through our comprehensive programmes.

We distribute Bibles and Christian literature, offer group Bible studies and training on the fundamentals of Christian living and ministries, and we organise exposures to evangelism and mission.

health

Healthcare & Education

Poverty has its own stinging power from lack of the absolute necessities of life. This creates a never-ending cycle of bondage for individuals as well as for the community.

While bringing our efforts to address poverty in the community, we primarily focus on health and education. We believe sustainable development cannot be achieved without breaking the cycle of poverty.

God does not want people to be plagued by poverty when they have the potential and resources to live a life worth living. Practically, we provide basic healthcare system and facilities, educational materials and mentoring, and diverse youth programmes.

agriculture

Skills Promotion

Families must make a living for themselves. Spiritual input and physical well-being by themselves do not put food on the plate. Skills development is essential in the community so people can benefit and make proper use of their resources (one real example is the land).

Rural communities in Madagascar depend entirely on farming for living. Although there is plenty of land and space to expand beyond subsistence farming, villagers need to be trained and sustained to flourish.

In this regard, we come alongside the community and provide various training programmes. It is also important to address the community needs in culturally relevant ways. So we teach them new farming methods, how to run small businesses, and conduct craft and other professional skills workshops.

Why Partner with Us

We connect and work with local and international partners to move towards our vision. We also build long-lasting relationships and cultural ties with community leaders. Our approach is based on faith, identity, intentionality, and professionalism.

The three components of community development and values we focus on are ‘life’, ‘worth’, and ‘living’ because we want to see each and every human being, as bearer of God’s image, forming a community to grow and live a ‘life worth living’. Those three respectively reflect our ministries: spiritual development; healthcare and education; and skills promotion.
